ERG Fosters Environmental Awareness with the Brainy Incredibots

At ERG, we’re excited to support Brainy Incredibots, an elementary robotics group from Novi School District. This team of 1st to 3rd graders designed and built a submarine powered by motors controlled through coding, with the goal of aiding ocean conservation. Along the way, they learned about parts of the ocean, aquatic life, professions that study and help the ocean, and ways that they can help clean up and save our oceans.

The Brainy Incredibots participated in the SharkFest Robotics competition on November 9th, 2024 at Troy High School. They showcased their submarine project and also earned a medal for creativity with their vision board on ocean conservation.

This project taught the kids more than coding—it connected them to real-world environmental issues and showed them how STEM can make a difference. We’re proud to support these young innovators who are interested in preserving the environment. ERG aims to foster STEM activities for kids, and get them interested in science and math as well as environmental conservation.
