Bob Zwald is Executive Vice President and Senior Geologist for Environmental Resources Group (ERG). He graduated from Western Michigan University in 1983 with a degree in Geology. Bob has specialized in environmental real estate due diligence, site assessment, and site remediation since the late 1980s and has managed over 500 projects from small to large. He has worked hundreds of leaking underground storage tank (LUST) sites and Phase I and II environmental site assessments, and several Brownfield projects over his nearly 30 year career. Bob brings vast technical experience to assist in evaluating appropriate remedial and due care methodologies to efficiently bring a contaminated site to a point where it can be safely used or redeveloped.
Bob is a member of the Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals (MAEP), and has served on the MAEP Board of Directors for over 10 years. In his spare time, Bob is a four season enthusiast. In the warm months, he is sailing on Lake Michigan or riding his bike on the backroads around his home. In the winter, Bob is a part-time ski instructor at the local hill, but would really rather be in the mountains. Bob is a proud father, a happy husband, and is owned by a dog and two cats.
