Mike has been a Project Manager for Environmental Resources Group (ERG) since 2013. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1992 with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Sciences. Mike has worked in the environmental consulting, contracting & industrial services field for over 25 years, working for various national size and Michigan based large and small private, and municipal clients on projects throughout Michigan, as well as in Kentucky, northern Virginia, Alabama and Mississippi. Throughout his career, Mike’s focus has included project management related to environmental site investigations, site assessments, site monitoring, and installing/maintaining remediation systems as well as sales / business development. Mike has specialized in underground storage tank (UST) closures and assessments; leaking underground storage tank (LUST) response activities including investigations and design, installation and maintenance of soil and groundwater remediation systems; management and oversight of numerous emergency spill response cleanups; and several wastewater lagoon closures. Mike’s experiences have also included completing environmental site assessments for environmental due diligence during property transactions, subsurface soil and groundwater investigations, and site remediation in the United States. Mike has also assisted in the design and coordination of in-situ remediation projects in the United States, as well as at former Soviet military bases in Central Europe.
Mike is a member of the Michigan Association of Environmental Professionals (MAEP). In his spare time, Mike loves spending time with his family whether it’s at his cottage or on his boat soaking up the sun. Mike has been a youth baseball coach for most of the past 12 plus years and relishes being a mentor to young men and helping them grow both physically and mentally toward adulthood. Mike is also an avid hunter during the fall months and loves to cross-country ski when the snow piles up in the woods.
